About: The ARC has a full array of services available to people experiencing developmental disability or mental illness across the lifespan from birth through old age. The ARC recognizes each person they serve has specific dreams, ambitions and interests, as well as aptitudes and abilities apart from the disability he/she experiences. Their services are individually tailored to meet the needs and goals of each person they serve.
Founded in 1957 by a group of parents who knew community-based services were better than institutions, The ARC’s goal is to ensure the people they serve have the opportunity to lead rich, full, satisfying lives as valued members of their community.
